And around by Bantry Bay<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

The hills of Connemara<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

Galtee Mountains and Sl\u00edabh Bloom<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

Ach is fearr liom Ballyvourney<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

Near the town of sweet Macroom<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

It was there some Irish scholars<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

First saw the light of day<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Sheehans and the Scannells<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

And the Learys from Coolea<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Murphys and the Lynchs<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

And other scholars too<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

Should be proud of Ballyvourney<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

Near the town of sweet Macroom<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr Lynch whose name is loved by every Ballyvourneyite<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

His heart was as big as the highest hill in Coom<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

He was king of Ballyvourney<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n
