2019 Event Update …..

 

The 6th Annual An Dochtúir Ó Loingsigh Gathering will take place on

Saturday September 14th 2019

in the Ionad Cultúrtha an Dochtúir Ó Loingsigh.

The Welcome Reception starts at 2.30pm with the Opening Introduction taking place at 3pm.

 

This year’s speakers are:

  • Professor Dáibhí Ó Cróinín, Department of History, NUI Galway

  • Dr. Caoimhín de Bhailís, Independent Art Historian

  • Dr. Seán Ua Súilleabháin, Department of Modern Irish, UCC

The afternoon concludes with the presentation of

The Annual Dr Lynch Commemorative Dinner will be held in The Abbey Hotel, Ballyvourney where we will gather at 6pm for 6.30pm.
